My cousin is in town. She's 14. She went from very nerdy to very goth in the past few years. I'm so very proud of her. We spent yesterday talking about anime, jonny depp and how cool shirley manson is.

My dreams continue to be strange. Last night I dreamt I was my exalted character, who is a pirate. There was a lot of jumping and swashbuckling. All I can say is that I'm grateful for fivefold bulwark stance.

Girls often assume that joy and gratitude should be expressed with hugs. This is something our culture should try to remedy. If I do you a favor I don't need you to jump up and down and latch yourself on to me as a sign of thanks. Or at least ask first is all I'm saying.

Time for a pirate joke:
Once there was a great pirate captain. Whenever they would engage in battle he would wear a red shirt so that if he was cut badkt in battle his men wouldn't notice and would keep fighting.
One day the pirate spotted a small merchant ship, with a small crew and not heavily armed. "Arrgg, bring me my red shirt." he ordered, and they took the small ship with ease.
The next day the captain spotted another pirate ship, which looked about as well equiped as their own. "Argg, bring me my red shirt." he oredered again, and they were later victorious over the the other pirates.
The next day, as they were setting a course for a port where they might sell their newly acquired treasure the captain spotted a royal armada headed in their direction. "Arggg, bring me my brown pants...."

Hilareous no? no? ok well at least I tried.
