I came across an old computer file that I've held onto since my very first computer (a 486 66mhz!). It's a journal ranging from the end of my junior year in high school through the end of my summer before college. It was strange to laugh out loud at things that were, at the time, ever so serious and important to me. On the otherhand I admire my old self somewhat. He had the whole tortured and insane artist thing going for him. Never sleeping, never smiling, bitter about the hope that tied him to the world. For some reason I guess I kinda miss being miserable, strange as that may sound, truly if anyone had perfected the art it was me.
Anywho... I've been reading all morning and enjoying it thouroughly. I really need to start drawing again, and I think I shall tonight. I want to start a strip comic based on this site, but I've nevered been able to come up with a solid concept that I would be funny beyond a few strips. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Generous Monetary Donations?
