So yesterday was my last day as a juror. We jurors never even made it to the opening statements. They apparently settled out of court. Four business days of waiting...still, it was a good and pleasant experience, and I did meet and talk to people. Plus, I will never get to see jury duty for seven years. When I returned to work yesterday afternoon, apparently, the economy and stock market well, you know the rest...all that happened when I was away on jury duty? Wow.

Tomorrow night, I will be at Heartland Brewery at 43rd Street for the NYC Beer Festival. I can hope I will be sober, I only plan a few gulps of beer...they will be serving beer for the appetizers, another beer for the main course, and another for dessert, lol.

Since I do work in the finance industry, and I am in the Bank of America Tower (later on I will move to another bank, BNP Paribas beginning on October 1st, but me and my c-workers are still stuck in the BofA Tower for now), you might want to know what I think of the Lehman Brothers meltdown....well, I do have comments:
