So yeah, it's been a long, long time, hasn't it blog?
I know it probably seams like I was neglecting you, my little bloggy blog, but I have been a very busy boy. Between trying to get a price endogenous quadratic programing model to work at the lab, starting my own business (YAY!), working out constantly and loosing around 35 pounds, trying to keep ahead of this roller coster of a market, finding out the girl I was seeing was having threesomes on the side with her roommate and some douchebag and generally being lonely and single.
Oh wait, those last ones means I actually have more time.
Fuck dating, by the way.
I asked out a woman at work, a slightly older woman, to lunch the other day. She used to always smile, say hi to me and wave when she passed my office and I thought she was pretty attractive. She said, "maybe some other time," and now she ignores me like the plague and goes out of her way to not pass by my door.
What the fuck?
Who does that?
I'm glad I didn't ask her out on an actual date, she probably would've punched me in the face.
Maybe I should be glad, considering what happens to me when I do find someone to date, they make out with a dozen other guys on your first date and end up lying about having threesomes.
Right.
So, most of my life is doing really, really great.
And, apparently, to make up for it, my love life is a fucking nightmare.
Should I just throw in the towel? Is dating just not for me anymore?
I'm thinking... yes.
