So Candyball 7 sucked, like wicked hardcore. I was all pumped up for my first CB and I must say I was really disappointed. The venue, Club Exit, was pretty sick and so were the DJs. However, there were like a million cons to those two pros. Cons: Bitchy door people, too hot inside, sketchy/predatory guys and skanky ass chicks, weird vibes and the NY rave scene seems super drama-packed and cliquey.
The only cool people I met were from New England and Upstate NY. All of the NY ravers seemed very cliquey, stuck-up, trashy, disrespectful of women and generally unpleasant. I got "stroked" by weird guys way too much and when I smiled and continued walking by guys who were trying to hit on me I got fucking death glares.
Oh and me and my girlie got crushed by a skanky girl's chunky ass while sitting against a wall chilling (some guy grabbed her for a oral "assault").
It was pretty much a waste of $50 and 8 hours in the car for the 4 hours we spent there.
Conclusion: No more NY raves ever again!
