I just watched Primer, and I guess I understand it. I couldn't follow the logic behind how the machine worked, though.
hooraydiation:
Yeah, I had spend some time wagging my finger back and forth to signifiy going backwards and forwards in time before I could get it.

Thanks for the happy birthday, dollface.

oof, quelle week. i had to drop my ballet class because it was way too advanced for me (and i am so out of shape). i had to transfer my $$ into a different class, but there wasn't much left except:

1. golf
2. inline skating
3. rhythmic dance fusion

i opted for #3 even though i bet it will be totally flaky. i'm not...

I just got back yesterday, though maybe I'm stil not home in the sense that my mom and step-dad's house isn't really familiar enough to qualify as such a place..

It's neat that you like Sandman, though I guess it is one of the most popular comic books out there.

yes i love billy bragg... especially when he says 'kids'... i sounds like he says 'keeeds' hahahaha.

i'm telling you... rv life is fantastic. you get to move your house wherever you go and you get to meet lots of strange people that live in RV parks... mostly old people too. i guess i'm really a 65 year old man trapped in a 29 yr olds body.

That's just a brilliant idea.

I like time travel stories, mostly when screwing up the past has some sort of crazy affect on the future. I also like stories about parallel universe hopping for the same reasons (I really enjoyed comics about alternate universes where Batman becomes a vampire or whatever). One thing I've been liking recently is the new Doctor Who series.

Thanks for the recommendation. I need stuff to read because my vacation isn't that interesting.

Yeah, that might be it. More mature, conservative, or something like that. But of course, I know there's a wild cougar lurking beneath.

mmmmm...cougar. tongue

Wow. The conflict between the desire to respect someone on their death bed and the desire to roll my eyes at something like that would probably cause my retinas to detach due to the tension.

What's Vegas with your parents like? Are they fans of Celine Dion?

I don't have a negative attitude towards the void.

Maybe it's just due to a limited imagination, but I don't see how any kind of afterlife could possibly remain interesting throughout the entirety of infinity.

I'd rather be dissatisfied about an early death for an instant than spend the majority of eternity bored out of my mind.

the party last night was specifically billed as a disco dance party, although it was a bit short on both disco and dancing.

still, it felt so good to be out. the crowd was weird though. some guys came up to me and tried to start a conversation with, "you look a lot like my mom" and "why don't you hang out with more asian...

Are you JOKING??? Do people think they can pull a Jerry Seinfeld and say really blunt stupid shit to total strangers? Because last time I checked, a party was not the place to tell someone that they're a mediocre, matronly shut in who's abandoning their cultural heritage. You need to make yourself a felted brooch that actually squirts string cheese at people during moments like these... ooo aaa

I don't know what flickr is, but I have to dash out the door and do some mailing and then go to my day job (jewelry stuff too). So I'll have to find out tonight.

ps - I am totally in love with the name of your company, and am going to put off clicking that little link until I have time to peruse tonight.... kiss
