wow, i want this jacket so much! i wish i could make it.



just returned from toronto, where i had a reasonably slothful time and am now perky girl!! i used to party like mad in t.o., but have gone there so often in the last 10 years that the glamour has vanished over time. so instead, i:

- moved furniture and boxes around town (helping lumpboy purge his apartment)

- drank lychee "special calpis," which sounds like "cow piss" but is a green-tea-yogourt-slush concoction with tapioca pearls. *drool* have you visited your favorite bubble tea venue lately?

- watched lots of rented movies with vincent: mean girls! bring it on! and other high-school-girl favorites. despite what people may try to tell me, i thought "mean girls" was far better than the slow, earnest "bring it on," and reminded me of "heathers" in a nice way

- played "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas" video game with my friend greg

- drank beer

- visited my gramma

- saw the modigliani show at the AGO. favorite caption: "modigliani painted 30 female nudes in a brief but enormous spurt of creative energy during the years 1916-1917." goodness, that's a lot of spurting.
