highlights of the last while:

the harvest fair at fort edmonton park (terribly wholesome). corn shucking, period costumes, cowboys, oh my

drinking wine with clc, then wrestling her in front of the Gas Pump and passing out on her floor holding hands

learning to sew good 'n proper

the great drag king event of the year! where me and the girls went to r's house and ransacked his closet for clothes and took pictures and staged a murder scene

singing with m and coming up with ideas for our fictitious band, "tomgirlfoolery" (we do musicals)

meeting m+r and gawking at their school bus rv

dinner at tokyo sushi, where the waiters refused to let me pay for dinner because "lumpboy always pays for his friends"

walking home with j in thunderous warm rainstorm and getting soaked through to my underwear

taking uberllama on a bar-hop and getting him super silly

Look at you lil' sweetie in yer profile... so cute. And confident! I can totally see it... Thanks for the kind words about the tea set, we had so much fun with it. My biz partner (who still lives in Toronto) ehme made all the "colourful parts" of the set by flameworking glass, and then I made the "metal parts" by making plates, rings, and the tray out of sterling silver and fine silver. It's for a big show for craft stuff in november, and we're really excited to see if there's any response to it... you know how dry some of those fine craft things can be... wink I love showing people on this site what I've been up to lately because the sg land people have a great sense of creativity and humour, and there's a lot of talented, stylish people here that I *really* appreciate their feedback. Ahem. biggrin

Sounds like you've been havin' fun lately, good stuff! Oh and if you took pictures from your staged murder, you should make a new hallowe'en profile pic, some folks around here are doing it (there's a thread somewhere about it). It'd be cool! Dragking murder musical! whoo hoo!
