in an attempt to overcome my long-term stage fright, i agreed to be in a fashion show this wednesday. i will be calm. i will not drink. i will not do a "carrie bradshaw," my ass on the ground, my heels in the air.
the show is to promote a great little store called Nokomis, which sells all one-of-a-kind type stuff designed and made by canadians. "Nokomis" means grandmother in, i think, Ojibwe, and if you come in with a picture of your granny, the picture gets framed and put on the wall, and you get a discount.
