ahhhh, feeling VERY virtuous today. went swimming and practised treading water and everything! i am a bit out of shape though. at one point, my foot cramped up and i thought, fuck, what if i can't get out and the pimply teenage lifeguard will have to save me? while yes, that would be a fun fantasy, it would also be horribly embarrassing.

digdug, that's VERY exciting that you took your cat out! if he's skittish around people, it might be a good idea to take him out during a quiet time, like late at night? you could also try picking him up when you see someone coming. he may just jump out of your arms and make a beeline for the door anyway, though. they are very squirmy, those cat creatures.
