i think zach braff must have studied the character of jack, because there's so much resemblance in the facial expressions and body gestures. i can see why john ritter was brought into scrubs to play j.d.'s dad--not just because of the obvious physical resemblance, but because j.d. owes some of his personality to good ol' jack tripper!
