Well, from west to east.... Bakersfield, LA, Santa Monica, some more California coast towns, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas - actually, I'd just like to travel all over America. I'd love to go on a road trip vacation, but at the same time I'd love to book a spa resort vacation, or a train trip vacation.

a couple of days ago, i received an e-mail in german. i brought it to my friend iris to see if it was spam. but, no! some random german woman wrote (to a friend with a similar e-mail, no doubt) to see how i was doing and tell me she missed me. she even sent her cell phone number.

That sucks that a passport held you back from going!! Coachella was definitely all I'd hoped for and then some. It was the festival experience I'd always been looking for. I think next time, flying down and staying in a hotel is in order, though.

maybe one day i'll get a vacation, and i'll visit your magical land. my usual coffee order is pretty easy, too, so the canadian baristas won't give me a scowl.

That's sort of like J signing up for the beginning marathon training group, even though she's been doing local runs (only one actual marathon) for a few years and has placed first in her age group before. She found out that they go too slow for her, so she is moving up to the intermediate group.

I have such a difficult time recognizing people out of context. Some guy I've been working with for years and know relatively well, when I ran into him outside of work, I completely forgot who he was.

Yeah, I suspect we all get internet burnout at some point, it being so ubiquitous... I'm getting over it slowly but surely.
