I decided to do some research. Even if you aren't in a relationship right now, you can base your answers on past experiences, I'd love to hear different views. Please? biggrin
How much time do you spend with your significant other in comparison to how much time you spend with your friends? Do you wish you could spend more time with one or the other? Do you find it difficult to keep a balance between the two, or does everyone get along?

Not enough time with my mate and too much time with my buds. not that i want to, it's just kinda tuff when you got an ocean between the two of you most the time.. surreal but i look at it as time vs. quaility. you can spend days together and not be close to anyone friend or lover, or you can spend a hour and make it last forever. love

I am currently not technically in a relationship, but me and my exgf still hang out often so... hmm..

Ultimately, when we first started going out, I spent a rather large amount of time with her—and then she moved in, so we spend even more time together. I spend far more time with her than I did hanging out with my friends.

To a degree it became a problem for me, because whenever she wanted attention it was so difficult for me to say no—even if there was something else that I had to be doing. I couldn't handle the pouting. As a result, it became very difficult for me to get work done at home or stay on task.

Things started to take a downward turn about 8-9 months into the relationship when she started to unplug emotionally because of a fear that I was going to leave her. Over a period of a year and a half, this condition worsened to the point where I started to disconnect as well. And then, one day, *poof* it was over.

Wow, I said more than I intended. Oh well.
