So, we find out our little shih-tzu Pepi has glaucoma which was left untreated for too long and he's gone completely blind in both eyes. We knew something was wrong with one eye but couldn't afford to take him to the vet, and then it spread to the other eye overnight. One day he was running around outside playing... the next morning he couldn't see a damn thing and was running into walls. The only thing we can do for him is a procedure which will cost up to $800. I haven't gone back to work yet and we don't have that kind of money right now but if it isn't done, the pressure behind his eyes can go to his brain and spine.
