2 1/2 years ago, I was dumped. It happens. Been dumped before. I'm sure it'll happen again. What was weird about this particular dumping was that he never called, never notified me... Just discontinued contact altogether and moved. Last night he called to apologize. Not sure why. Didn't give me an explanation of what happened. Just called to apologize and say Happy New Year. Guess his guilty conscience needed to be relieved for a clean slate in 2011. Not sure how I feel about it. This breakup fucked with my head. Was I such a terrible girlfriend that I didn't even deserve an "I'm breaking up with you" speech? Oh well... Guess it's just gonna be a weird start to 2011 for me.
