Girl's Day With Mom (awww)
First stop was the sewing and craft fair at Cal Expo today and although I appreciate quilting and look forward to learning it at some point, I was highly disappointed that 90% of this fair was all about it. No cross stitch. No embroidery. Few crafty things. And an occasional Sham Wow item.
Feeling like I really wanted a new project to work on, I decided to go for this cool screen printing kit. I'll try my mad skillz at clothing embellishment.
2nd stop was Woody's for lunch. French Dip was tender and tasty. The sweet potato fries made this a really worthwhile stop. Plus we got to see the waitress dump a tray full of drinks into a customer's lap.
Next up was Nordie's for some bras and panties. Bought this cute Betsey Johnson set with bows all over it. I love Love LOVE her bras - so cute and comfortable.
Last stop was for some hair management at the Threading Store. Yeah I learned how to thread but why inflict pain on myself when I can pay someone else $6 to remove some unwanted facial hair. Instant red moustachio!
Spent way too much money but good days are worth it.
