Just got back from NJ + visiting the boyfriend. He surprised me with dinner @ Qdoba (oh holy fuck yes) and tickets to see goblet of fire on IMAX. It was awesome, and not just because he agreed with me that harry and ron are so gay for each other it hurts. seeing friends was lovely, too. the only drawback was the amount of time spent sober, which was realllly small. ah, boyfriend. what am i going to do with him? <3
we're so good for each other in some ways, which is one of the reasons we're moving in together, but so bad for each other in others. We're such party kids when we're together, even when it's just us, the animals, and sci-fi dvds.
Our tank is doing wonderful (we have a 25-gallon vivariam with 10 frogs and/or toads, shrimp, snails, fish, etc etc). The bullfrog tadpole (formerly known as flabpole, because of his gigantic fat face) has now morphed into an adorable new little frog. he's going to need his own tank soon. perdita, i think you might get the honor of naming him, since Indy died such an untimely death
oh, and i come baring picspam. of me with my hair up, no less, which never happens. Or at least, is never immortalized in pictures.
this is my new favorite picture of myself. just windowlight, taken with a slightly longer exposure than normal. I love the shading of the skin tones.
