I've decided that having to choose five people who(m?) I like best here completely sucks. I don't think I can disable the 'favorite friends' feature, can I? (I don't even know how to make the names show up in pink. Dork.)
But here's the thing - I've only been here for a few months and have already 'met' so many people who(M? - damn, somebody help me here. Is it who or whom??)....lost my train of thought...
OH - yeah....too many cool people in one place. Usually not a problem I have so I'm grateful. But I still hate the fave five thing. It seems so arbitrary.
What if I really like the five people in my top five but then I meet someone who I really really like? What basis does one use to 'bump' someone from their list? And what happens to the self-esteem of the bumpee? Personally, if I were the bumpee I would be a little hurt. Then the bumper has all the power. So the bumpee then decides to bump the bumper (who is in the bumpees top five, of course) out of spite and picks some random person to be the replacement friend, who we'll refer to as the climber. Eh, this is getting out of hand....
