Ok, I hate to be a cranky blogger but I have to vent.
As many of you know I'm a Crisis Counselor for young woman fighting eating disorders. Why is it that when people discover this information they think its free reign to make all their little jokes? Cause I know nothing makes me chuckle like people being so disgusted with themselves they vomit just to feel at peace! Yeah that's hilarious.
This is the most popular "So what do you do...give um a cheese burger?" "How do you make um stop....put vinegar on their fingers?"
IDIOTS!!!!!!! Even if you don't understand something, how can you stand there and laugh while people are in pain?
Maybe if people would just keep their mouths shut when they think of these funny funny comments, these girls wouldn't feel so ashamed and have so much self loathing that they would feel comfortable seeking help, instead of seeking solace in an addiction that eventually kills them.
OK I'm done......sorry to bitch and moan, I just needed to get that out.
And on a happier note, thank you all so much for the sweet comments about my Lil injury you are all so sweet. I have my last surgery on the 25th, and I plan on some hardcore hitchhiking afterwards.

being new to Tyler TX I have found that there seems to be a status quo of "normal", and if you don't fit into that rather small group, you are fair game. there is little desire to understand other people. oh yeah, and prayin to Jesus can solve EVERYTHING...

I saw your comment on the sexaholics group and thought I'd check out your page. I think that what you do for the women with eating disorders is amazing. I'm in the military, but think that you probably do more good for people than I do. Not to mention I think you're gorgeous
