I want to to write like Hunter S. Thompson.

Maybe I am aiming a bit high there, but I've just started this postgraduate Journalism degree at Westminster and I'm having a great time.

I'm actually showing interest, turning up to lectures, and doing background reading. Madness. In my three previous years of higher education I never actually did this and now I am, I feel really good about it.

It's really a bad thing to waste your best years in a job you don't like. And I was doing it for two years! Retail is horrid. It drains your life away if you do it for too long. Working in a bookshop is some people's ideal job. It used to be mine, but I need to be active, writing, and out and about. It simply wasn't doing this.

Like my picture? I like it. My new pretty macbook which I bought very naughtily with my credit card did it for me. You just click a button and it does a whole kind of photo booth thing. I love this little computer.I would probably have hump if it had a big enough slot. Well James Woods wanted to hump his TV in Videodrome. Maybe I could write a script about wanting to hump your computers.

I swapped my Misfits sweatband with this young pretty swedish girl for a string of pearls... I'm not sure why I did this but she was looking cute. I think it was the sambuca that I bought. It looks a bit strange to have pearls on my wrist and probably makes me look more of a lady than I usually do.

Time's up. Got to go. I can't write like Hunter S. Thompson. How on earth do you write on drugs?
