I think I've found a hobby without having to drink, take drugs or smoke. Rollerblading! I got this fantastic pair of blades in the post for 30 and they are really nice. Saloman's no less (they are supposed to be good) and I went down to Hyde Park on Sunday skating around near the Serpentine river where all the bladers hung out. I was really shit at the beginning but after about five hours I was building quite a bit of speed and jumping kerbs and stuff, which is a lot more fun than you might think. I was posing a bit as well, taking my shirt off and riding around with my ipod and my sunglasses. I'm getting very brown at the moment which is much preferable to Oriental Pasty - I was told I had the colour of a golden buddha which I was very pleased with indeed And best of all, for five or six hours enjoyment it was all free! which definitely helps my funds in that I've found a really good way to enjoy myself without having to spend a fortune like my weekend last week. Also definite pluses - as well as giving me a tan it also helps out my stamina, body posture and firms up my ass and legs which is very important for oh so many ways and is pretty good socially - unlike skateboarders rollerbladers are less introverted and much more willing to talk to you because they haven't got their emo demons and their gang mentality... (i'm getting old I think) So as i said i'm going to form the SG rollerblading gang... failing that I'll just make some rollerblading friends down the park or at the of the London Street Skates!

If you think I was being a poser you see the rollerskaters... i felt like i was back in fame!
