My last journal was a self-indulgant rant which I needed to let out. This is just a normal one outlining my career hopes and future.

So what's changed in my world. I've been shortlisted for this postgraduate Magazine Journalism course which means I have to go to the University and spend the day there. Apparently I'll have to do tests and an interview.... ha it's like the time when I had to sit interviews and do an exam for secondary school. I thought I was past that but no, I've got to to it again! It's important for me though, I've basically put a lot of my energy in the hope of getting a place on this course and making a proper career of something I genuinely want to do. I'm almost 24 so I need my life to go in a certain direction as well as to get more money and stuff. I've almost forgotten about the relationship side of it but that's not something I worry about much at the moment. Just living my life, though it's impossible for me to stay home like other people can... i get too restless at the moment, and that's probably because at home I feel like I'm in a cell. Many of my friends are turning into weird, lazy old ladies and it's hard to get them out. Watching DVD's at home with your friends is cool, but I want to have as much fun as I can before I get old and crusty.
