every time i look at my boss i hear the stones "under my thumb" play in my head. i'm up for a promotion. understandably i have to interview for it. in one way, i feel if i have to interview it's mine to lose. on the other hand, i feel like i have to jump through hoops between now and the end of march so that i'll be able to have the interview at all. my review is coming up before the interview. there is a new posting about the position and which competencies i'll have to exhibit to be considered. i know there is a lot to celebrate on that list. i wonder though if the bad will out weigh the good and there will be too much to change before the interview. fingers crossed, kids.
