I'd have to say most likely the guy was either shy or intimidated. Hell, I remember one time I was working in retail and this stunning redhead came up to me to purchase a CD and I was like "whoa, I really must ask for her number" and in the process of scanning her CD I ended up sliding it all the way down the corner and breaking it. Oops. Needless to say, I gave up immediately in my attempt to get her number.

What's the point of this rant? Well, maybe just to share an amusing story. But don't think that it's you. Just look at it from the guys point of view; maybe there are a ton waiting for that chance but are intimidated by it. Sometimes it helps if you make that first "hint" like giving your number or something and if they're not retarded, they'll take the bait and do the rest

male/female interaction is just hilarious. to me at least. not saying i'm not guilty of humbling up or not making the first move when i really wanted to. i have to go with the shy thing most likely but my real advice is not even to give it another thought.would you really want to be with someone too blind to see that you're worth asking out? would you really want to be with the type of person that doesn't have enough courage to make the first move? whenever i face some type of disappointment with a female i tell myself it's alright because if they won't love me, somebody else will. i guess that's what i want you to take from what i'm saying. focus on yourself, love yourself and if they don't ask you out then you don't need them anyway
