What you write impacts who you date, apparently.

When I wrote indie movies that straddled the line between drama and romantic comedy, I had such a bizarrely cool dating life but my writing lost me more money than it made me. Now that I'm a professional author writing Young Adult superhero novels for a living, I feel like my sex appeal has gone flying out the window. I can't tell if it's because I'm doing something wrong, if making your living off superheroes is ridiculously unsexy, or if the books just keep me so busy that I'm no longer interesting.

I guess I think it's funny, but I also feel bizarrely un-fun. Maybe I should write a sex comedy next just for kicks. Gotta finish book 4 though first.

Hilariously enough, last time I got recognized as an author in public I was also meeting a photographer for a modeling job in a coffee shop. Worlds colliding. Simultaneously feeling very cool about being a writer while being super self-conscious about doing a somewhat erotic modeling project on the side. I need an alter ego name. Taking suggestions below.

Congrats on your success.  Lol.. funny how life goes sometimes. Guessing on the photos perhaps certain areas of your life have picked up. 😉.. not sure on the alter ego name. Lol.. to funny. You shouldn't be self-conscious although I do understand. Own it! 😜😉 lol..
