Saw a lot of people posting this and I feel irresistibly compelled to play along. If I genie granted me three wishes?
1. For the Indestructibles to do well enough as a book series that I could write full time. I mean I could wish for fame, or that movie career I always wanted, but rather than be greedy, I'd just like to be able to work hard at the part of my career I love rather than splitting time between love and toiling.
2. For the body I've always wanted. I work out. Hard. Every day. But I've never looked good enough to be happy with myself, and I gotta admit, 30-something years of self-disappointment has worn me down. I don't need to be a golden god, I just want to be happy with what I look like for the second half of my life. Is that too much to ask? Probably. I'll keep trying though.
3. A lifetime without horrible health issues. I'm phrasing it that way because I'd like it to benefit not just me but everyone in my life. I've seen too many people brutalized by illness. If I could avoid getting truly sick and to not have to see anyone I love suffer with a major illness, I'll take the bumps and bruises along the way.
I dunno, maybe I should've wished for a three-picture movie deal and a tattooed dream girl girlfriend and my own private space ship? What do you think? Am I not ambitious enough?
