Well, it's official. My first book, a collection of short stories, will be published shortly. The publisher announced it yesterday and added me to their roster of authors with some snippets of the book here.

I won't fully believe it until I have a copy of the book in my own hands, but there it is. Solid publishing company, author-friendly contract, wonderful publisher and editor... all the good things you hope for when you get published. Pretty great.

Time to start shamelessly self-promoting...
