Lately it seems like every time I think "I want to do a project like X" a project just like X comes along. I saw a photo spread the other day, basically just Vincent Cassel looking annoyingly dapper in a suit, and I think, I would love to do a photo shoot like that, either in front of or behind the camera.
And today I get a random message from a photographer I haven't worked with before who wants me to put on a sharp dark suit and wander the streets of Boston for a photo shoot next week.
(Four weeks ago I thought to myself, "I want to play a grubby Boston townie in a dramatic short film" and a script dropped into my lap two days later. So now is the time for me to think thinks like "I would love to land a million dollar commercial gig..." right?)
Speaking of dreams coming true... the rough cut of my feature film directorial debut will be ready on Monday. I'm scared shitless. I hope it doesn't suck.
