Let this be the rule ...
You DO NOT LIE to your significant other. If anything ... they are the ONE person in this world that you shouldnt HAVE to lie to, EVER! No matter how BAD of a thing it is you did, no matter how badly you THINK they will take it, no matter how much you wish you never di what u did or how badly u want to sheild them from what you did because you think they cant handle it ... they CAN handle it. and they will. but whatever you do, DO NOT LIE to your significant other!
A significant other should be "your other half". A PART of YOU. The only person in this god forsaken place that accepts and understands YOU, no matter what.
Would u lie to yourself? Would u enjoy being lied to? Probably not. Then why lie to your significant other?
I dont ask for much, if anything at all. all I ask is that you be honest, and I will do the same. Is that so much to ask?
Why is it ... that you can look a person in the EYES .. and tell them that they have no reason to be afraid, that you're on their side, that you're PART OF THEM, yet they can look back at you and treat you as if you were their enemy. All the lies, LIES LIES!!
Maybe relationships are a big fat lie, maybe Im the only one who thinks this way ... all I ever wanted was someone who wouldnt lie to me ... and in return, someone I never had to lie to.
Love is unconditional ... if I tell somone I love them, then you know that by that I mean UNCONDITIONALLY. Now where I come from, unconditional love means .. IT DOESNT MATTER what they do in life, what they become or whatever happens, I will love them regardless. Period. I honestly think I am way more forgiving of a person than I should be. But there is something very twisted when the ppl I love feel like they have to LIE to me. Is it something I am doin wrong here? Do I not show these ppl that I am the person they dont have to lie to?
