Wellllllllll, how is everyone enjoying their HOLIDAY shopping and all that jazz? I feel like Im just now recovering from my sons bday and already am facing a damn xmas, why couldn't he have a May bday like everyone else? Now THAT is convenient, Id have plenty of time to recover.
I can't stand the stress of the holidays, it's always incredibly scary for me because it seems like the last 3 out of 5 yrs I've been unemployed for xmas. I was doing side work, then craigslist started taking my ads down, now I'm not making shit. I've tried applying to jobs and even friends "say" they will hook me up with a gig at their place, but they forget .. and time goes on. Hell, even if I got a job today I think I wouldn't get paid until *after* xmas. How do u explain that to a kid? U cant ask them for a raincheck on xmas. Perhaps I can hide the calender or something?? Hmmm.
This yr I asked my sons biological fathers family for $ help for his xmas and they just bought him a plane ticket for the day after xmas to go down to FL and have xmas with *them* instead. How .. nice. I am starting to wish they'd just take him before xmas so I could have more time to get him things, but they already have the ticket. Shit. This messes up my calender idea too!! Personally, I think they kind of wanted him to be here on actual xmas so I could screw it up and then send him down so they could look better, but maybe I'm paranoid.
I have all my thank you cards written out from B's birthday gifts that some of the members here bought him, but only one real address (schianova, thats u). Please, if you bought him a gift .. can u email me your ADDRESS so I can send u a thank u card & a xmas card as well??? I know, I know .. don't those sound fantastic
