Quickly snapped these last night with my busted hand and really love how they turned out...
... Despite my super tired nude face 😂 and the bandage on my hand which was a bit of overkill, more to keep the bandaids on my clammy fingers than anything.
The faucet in our laundry is really stiff and hard to turn so I reefed on it hard , my hand slipped and the spout cut my fingers 🥺
Next day - really not that bad! Just in a shit spot.
Also enjoying being able to wear my hair down for the first time in 3 weeks!
It was a big week in our house at the start of last month with my mine, my partner's and our baby daughter's birthdays all in one week!
@asloke came to visit us for my birthday 🥰🥰🥰 almost a year and a half since we'd seen each other in person, and last week was the three year anniversary of when we met!
I never could have imagined becoming such close friends with such a beautiful (in every possible way) woman... I'm so grateful that I finally took the leap to become a Hopeful years ago and got to meet such incredible people through this site 🩷💕
How lucky was I to be in the middle of this gorgeous girl sandwich?! Feat. @arachnie 😁 (I wish I also had a copy of the photos from the SG dinner in August 2022!)
We went for a swim with while Asloke was visiting and my hair got wet:

And then we got quite drunk while streaming on SG that night!
Very, very drunk... And stayed up for 24 hours 😆
And then Ross, our little girl and I all got covid and were so sick, our symptoms lasted three weeks 🤯 and I had no time, patience, motivation or pain threshold to brush my matted hair!
It got worse and worse until it was basically one gigantic dread 😬 and took half a bottle of conditioner and four different brushes to comb out! Never again!!
I also wanted to share the rainbow cake I made for the party 🥳 Asloke and I wore party hats, struggled to blow balloons up with a helium tank and joked about getting matching tattoos of limp balloons which led to the decision to get matching SG tattoos! Unfortunately we couldn't get into a tattoo parlour at the last minute, so that's something on the to-do list for our next visit.
Throwing sprinkles on the cake - I vacuumed the kitchen floor after that 😂

Whelp, that's the last of the shots I took last night that I wanted to share! Soon my hair will be green and blue again 😁 and it's taken me all day and a ridiculous amount of interruptions to finally get this blog posted - I STILL haven't managed to find the time to post those pictures I took on the DSLR recently!
Right now I'm on holiday at the beach with my little family for a couple of days, so hopefully when we get back I'll make time for that 🙈 I hope everyone in SG Land is having a good week, and thanks for making it this far! Love, Ash x
