Since I've seen the way the candles light your face...
I've been quite busy, creating, birthing, growing.. in more ways than one. Transforming from maiden to mother.
My daughter has sent me down a new path of healing that I'm not sure I would have otherwise stumbled across. In the beginning I was resentful of losing the time and space to work on myself, I felt the push to heal from my past more than ever, needing to do it for her sake as well as my own. But healing is a journey, and everything I'm given happens when I need it, I've known that for some time now. After my 30th birthday I experienced a big upheaval and part of that led me to chase a dream, my long-time dream of being a Suicide Girl.
Yoshi's Story is still my only set :(
Obviously things have stalled but I've not given up on that dream and with so many ideas for sets in my head, I'm determined to bring them to life.
Since I can't afford to travel and pay for a photographer to work with me, I plan to collaborate with friends, some incredible people that I've met through SG 🩷 and I'm so excited to try self shooting, though I know it's going to be difficult!
I'm so excited to catch up with my SG bestie @asloke this winter!!
I'm taking a photography course to get to know the Canon 5D Mark II that my grandfather gifted me, though I'll have to invest in a 50mm lens.
Well, I just wanted to say hi, update everyone on what's been keeping me so busy - the best news I've ever had to share in my life ^.^ I'm so proud to be my little Bean's mama, she absolutely lights up my life. I'm genuinely happy for the first time since my own childhood and hope all my SG friends are doing well too x
