I am obsessed with this Youtube Video! I love Metalocalypse and I am really jealous of this guy's T-shirt (and guitar skills, as I suck on the axe)
This has real class, especially when you look at the guys facial expressions as he plays, he is really "feeling" it. I actually like the music on Metalocalypse, even though I dont like metal. Apparently Dethklok's Dethalbum was the highest selling Death Metal album of all time. This is so weird a fact, it makes my head hurt.
Amongst the many things I get up to, I sometimes do music management/promotional stuff, so I know full well what it is like to spend time with ego ridden musicians, I find my self really relating to Dethklok's lawyer when I watch the show.
On a more personal note, I am shooting a new set in a week or so with my very tallented Photographer freind Zeta Azevedo. Once shot Robert Smith too, and being a Goth, she hasnt quite got over the excitement of this! Zeta and I are both borderline alcoholics, so we have decided to get pissed on cheap champagne throughout the shoot, then have an "afterparty" pub crawl round various East London drinking establishments. She sometimes frequents the many strip clubs near where we live, so I guess we could wind up in one of those, which would probably make a refreshing change, looking at someone else's boobs, rather than my own.
