Happy Holidays! Hope you’re all having an enjoyable December so far. I’ve definitely been keeping myself busy with interviews, work, and shoots. I’m so excited that my second set, “Sweater Weather”, is doing well and the feedback has been so wonderful, empowering, and supportive. Thank you so much for all of the love and I can’t wait for you to see more of my work! Anyways, here are some updates since the last time I wrote to you all.

I’ve now completed my fifth tattoo! It is an image of a Maneki Neko (the Japanese good luck cat statue), but with the coloring of my cat Miso. The initial outline was done near the end of November and the coloring was finished last night! The amazing Oliver Kenton at Eye of the Tiger Tattoo in San Francisco gave me a great deal and is SOOOOOO cute. He’s a total sweetie (he would totes make a face at me if he saw this…) with a harder exterior. If you ever get a chance definitely go and get some work done from him. We bonded over a ton of really unexpected things and it was fun to laugh about it.

I’ve also begun to branch out and try different styles of photography from some photographers at Model Mayhem. I’ll post some pictures below! I also tried Shibari for the first time in a shoot and I’m not 100% if I liked it. I thought the knot work and designs look amazing, but it clearly was uncomfortable and my limbs look quite purplish/blue from cutting off circulation… Is it supposed to be like that? Or did I just have an inexperienced Shibari photographer? Granted, he was so fun to shoot with and I felt very comfortable around him, so I’m not quite sure what I’ll do.

A couple months ago a gaming company in LA contacted me and gave me an offer. I am still deciding on if I want to move…but it’s a really great opportunity so who knows. I’ll definitely keep you updated if I do decide to move ;) Especially if I am closer to headquarters and a TON of SG and SGH gals cause I want to meet all of you! In the mean time, I’m still working at SF’s cat cafe KitTea. If you’re in town definitely come and check this place out. It is truly a wonderful place and the cats are so adorable. My new favorite kitty in the space is named “Blinx” and she is blind. She’s very clumsy at times, but she is SOOOO sweet, loving, and playful. She really loves it when I hold her close to my chest and have her facing towards me. When she gets excited she puts both of her paws of my face and rubs her face all over mine T_T It makes my heart melt into moosh every time.

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you had questions for me? What would you like to know about me? What kind of content would you like to see me make? What colors/lingerie do you like me in the most?

Lots of Love,

Asami

Ps. Miso and Mimi pictures <3

first of all, congratulations on going Pink! second of all-- cute kittens!! third - i love your work with the camera (sorry, I'm a cat person, so that got precedence)... and most importantly, I am an experienced rigger (shibari rope person)... there are three types of Shibari in my mind: decorative, predicament, and bondage.  In the first style NOTHING should turn blue that isn't already that color (i.e. your hair), in the second style, maybe a little purple or blue in the hands or feet but you ARE taking a risk of harming yourself--worst case is that the nerves in your arms get pinched and you get permanent 'tennis elbow' or lose feeling/use in your hands.  that is worst case and means you've been bound for hours not minutes.. Third style: you want the pain and the risk of injury because you're wired that way, and have made an informed choice about how you get your kicks.  Such people are rare, though I have worked with a few.  Most stop at predicament (for example, you are tied so that you are off balance and have to wobble on one foot) rather than go to pain/constriction.  I do a lot of talking with a new sub if she asks for the third style...   // there is a little book out there on shibari first aid which is a useful guide -- placing the ropes an inch different on your upper arm can make a huge difference in your safety comfort -- so be smart and get informed.  it's like sex: it can be fun, it can change your life, and it can kill you if you're not smart.
