Today I received a holiday card from an old friend, one that I had lost touch with for about a year until it happened that I had to run a training session at the progam in which she works. It was nice to receive, and it carried the promise of an opportunity to hang-out after the holidays. We had also discussed possibly snow-shoeing. This is a happy event since I hate seeing friendships wither and die of atrophy.
