Finally, some broadband. I am so tired of the dial-up at home. Not much of a choice though without spending a fortune for the hardware to get the net through DirecTV. I should be moving soon now. That's actually how I'm connecting. I'm visiting the girlfriend. I set up a mixed home network (wireless and wired) so that I could connect from my notebook. She should be getting a notebook for next academic year (she's a middle school teacher) and she'll be able to hook up to the network as well. I think I can hook my XBOX 360 through a wireless network as well. This quaint little apartment will be wired once I'm done with it.

I spent quite a bit of time setting up the network yesterday. The firewalls were getting in the way of each other and preventing file and print sharing between the individual units.

Anyhow ... I missed SG ...
