I am speechless...
watched Ultimate Fight Night on Spike....some excellent fights...and besides..Favre is washed up...ready for retirement...and the Packers were getting pounded...So then I switch on the game after the fights....and there it is....Old School Favre driving down the field. A patch-work offensive line....down to his last three healthy receivers..and Ahman Green sidelined with an injury..none of this matters...Favre is back and the Pack is going to do the impossible...
The Packers drive down the field, score and convert for two and suddenly find themselves down by just three at 32-29. The Panthers need just a first down to seal the game, but the Packer defense is up to task, forcing a punt and one last chance for Favre. The Packers move the ball well, but then stumble..forcing a fourth down conversion attempt to either lose the game...or pretty much seal overtime. Favre fired a rocket..right into the hands of Donald Driver...but somehow Chris Gamble (Buckeye!) gets a piece of the ball too, Driver can't pull it in..and the comeback falls short....what a downer.
