So Seattle is beautiful

The Space Needle is absolutely gorgeous all lit up

Drove down on a whim, and had dinner at an Italian restaurant downtown.

I loved it, she didn't...

needless to say the tip was shitty... doesn't matter how much I love a place, if the date doesn't enjoy the dinner, it's all over.

One of the things I had trouble coping with today was 2005

Everything I wrote I dated 2004 - I guess since it was the first busy day since the new year, it can be forgiven - but it was utterly frustrating.

got home from work to no internet at all!

Being a technology junkie and a net-head, I distracted myself with several games of NHL 2005... I think it's time to adjust the difficulty a little bit, as I found myself winning by a score of 37-2

Sometimes... it's nice to imagine your team having perfect game after perfect game

I'm so sleepy

Only a week until my benefits cards arrive... full fledged full-time employee... more than 5% raise would have been good, but on the same token... it's not painfully low either

I managed to get rated as both an excellent employee, and an excellent prospect for upward mobility (aka promotion)

I'm happy with what I have.
