My PC looks like a seriously bastardized Mac right now...

Brushed stainless steel trim, icon dock at the bottom with animated icons, a set of wicked cool icons, in general.

So tonight sucked.

Went to meet friends at the Blarney Stone, they hadn't showed up after 45 minutes of waiting.

We were cold and wet.

There was a huge lineup, which we would have gotten...

I was just laying in bed, and I remembered something from over 20 years ago.

When I was 12 or 13, living in Red Deer, I used to babysit for 3 kids, a little girl, her younger brother, and her baby brother.

I liked doing it because it was easy money, it got me out of the house, and basically all I did was put...

Little kid do weird shit. It could be as simple as she saw her parents getting down, and remembered it, so she was curious and thought she would see what you'd say. Yeah, maybe she was abused, but often when kids are abused, they are very very ashamed of their bodies and shy. But hey, I don't know. Like, for example, I worked day care for a bit at a gym when I was a teen(eep) and this little girl jkep having this little boy run through her legs, and she giggled every time. It was, um, bordering on improper, so I said she should stop, you know, and she was all, "No, it feels good." She didn't seem like an abused girl at all. Kids are really sexually curious, so, I would keep in mind that it's a 50/50 either way.

Just watching the news, and I'm utterly kerfuffled and amazed...

Government contributions to Tsunami relief?

Canada, $425 Million (originally $4 Million)
USA, $427 Million (Originally $35 Million? somewhere around there)

Kudos to both governments, and all the individuals who've gone out of their way to make a difference.

Almost a billion dollars and much support from a mere 300 million people... come to think of...

I like Americans, and the US... there's just one American that makes my blood boil... and it bothers me that he doesn't make the blood of every American who cares about their country boil too...

Bollox

40% of Americans believe the war in Iraq is going well for US forces?

I guess that means 60% of Americans aren't blind, deaf, and dumb... The US forces...

More on the Seattle Trip:

So, we went to IHOP for our weekly Sunday brunch... we could still use another person or 10 to join us, as it's supposed to be a weekly social event that seems a touch lacking with only 2 people.

Then we went shopping a little bit... and made a wrong turn in White Rock. Somehow, we ended up in Seattle....

Next time I come to visit, can we do a road trip to Seatle too?
Please, with ice cream, and chocolate and whiped cream and maybe even cherries on top? kinda like a Peters banana split?
Its been so long since I have been on a road trip, the last one took two days, and involved a fridge being moved and the fridge trying to rip out my bellybutton ring, and my subsequent tatttoo getting impulsion....
Does any of that ring a bell? wink

Miss ya tonnes *hugs*
