Here you go - first ever view of me with glasses of any kind other than sunglasses.



Long day at work today (and yesterday) - both days involved 12 hours, and we got a whole new computer system at work - still the same basic software, but running on servers in another city hundreds of miles away (in another country yet), so there's a little bit of a lag, and any sort of network outage = offline, can't work. We got everything done that needed to be done, and I'm rather pleased overall.

AND... I actually get my day off tomorrow - I wasn't so sure that was still going to happen, but we got enough done that I can actually swing it. This makes me happy. I may have to go in on an emergency call or two, but I won't have to put in any straight time at all...

I need to head down to the states for gas, but the exchange rate is getting worse, and gas prices are getting ugly. At this rate, driving is going to require buying a house to take a mortgage on just to keep gas in the thing.
