I need weekends off again. It's seriously shitty never having 2 day off in a row - especially for taking trips and such.

So Seattle was gorgeous...

We got there around 9 Saturday night, had dinner, and caught some zzzzzzz's

This morning, we woke up, checked out of the hotel, and headed straight down to the Pike Place Market.

We had breakfast in a little sandwich place called "Sister's" (2 guys were working), then did the grand tour of the market, which was amazing, then toured the entire area.

I also had coffee at the Starbucks that was the ONLY Starbucks in the world for like 20 years. It's funny - the Starbucks logo at the original shop has bare boobs. The Mocha Valencia I ordered tasted exactly the same as at any other Starbucks, but the cashier and the barista are on opposite sides of the room - so after they take your money, they label the cups, and throw them across the room to the Barista, who catches them and puts them in line.

Very similar to the fish market across the street, where they throw fish/seafood around while yelling out nonsense and singing songs...

On our travels, I saw some cool graffiti, so I took a picture of it

On the way home, we stopped at a Safeway in Lynden, Washington to grab some pop, and saw a sale on Sobe drinks - 10 for $10, and a sale on Pringles - 10 for $10. We held off because we were already to our duty-free limit, and stopped at the Surrey Safeway to see what they had on sale, and it was 3 pringles for 5 buck, and 1 Sobe for $2.25.

I'm off to Safeway in Lynden to get some Sobe and some Pringles on Wednesday *lol*

Not to mention some Sobe "No Fear" energy drink (in the US, they pack it full of Taurine and Creatine, both illegal for sale in Canada), and some Coke brand energy drink (Full Throttle), also not legal for sale in Canada... it's weird - in the US, they can sell drinks full of steroids and controlled substances, but they can't sell anything with codeine in it... Americans are weird (the government)

My wishlist for pop they need to start carrying in Canada has grown.

- A & W Cream Soda (used to have it, shame it left)
- Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper (needs to be sold in Canada - hasn't yet)
- Big Red (used to have it - forgot how good it is!)

Also tried Sierra Mist, which is Pepsico's answer to Sprite, but really it's not in the same league... I always thought 7-Up was a pepsi product, but it turns out Dr. Pepper makes it. It's no wonder Dr. Pepper is still thriving - they have the #2 clear beverage in North America (of the non-alcoholic variety)
