I like Americans, and the US... there's just one American that makes my blood boil... and it bothers me that he doesn't make the blood of every American who cares about their country boil too...

40% of Americans believe the war in Iraq is going well for US forces?
I guess that means 60% of Americans aren't blind, deaf, and dumb... The US forces are getting their asses handed to them day after day, as are the Iraqis that support them.
George Bush dropped the ball when he invaded Iraq.
He's done more damage, directly and indirectly, to the Iraqi people than Saddam could have hoped to do in 20 more years of facist dictatorial crap. He's killed more US soldiers by sending them there than Iraq would have killed in a century if left alone.
Yes. GWB sent his people to slaughter - innocent Iraqis, soldiers just doing their jobs, and sure - they've killed umpteen thousands of "terrorists".
Problem is... the vast majority of those "terrorists" were never a threat to anybody.
And the rest were just ordinary citizens until their cities started exploding around them.
Workers who took up arms when a hostile force attacked their country and forced them to defend themselves.
I'm sure Saddam is laughing at Bush right now - a man who singlehandedly turned the US from a nation hated and feared because it's power and intentions were misunderstood... into the nation those who hated it had feared it was all along.
And yet... people continue to "approve"
approve of a man who tears down barriers to destroying what's left of the US's natural resources.
approve of a man who tears down barriers to preventing pollution.
approve of a man who empowers the rich to hold down the poor just a little bit more firmly.
approve of a man who has never wanted for anything, or feared for his own freedom... a man who has never bothered to take the silver spoon from his mouth.
a man who has demonstrated time and time again that he lacks both the intelligence and the wisdom to lead a choir, yet he's entrusted with a nation.
a man who's proven his cowardice and spinelessness over and over. Sure, he has the "balls" to speak his mind (really all it does is makes him sound stupid... but that's his perogative) - but he doesn't have the guts to fight for his country, nor his own pride. He hides behind the military might of the US and his bodyguards and lets the children of real Americans die in his personal cause.
Funny thing is, he probably has no clue that that's what he's doing.
