Since all I do right now is work Monday through Friday, I figured I would share some of what I'm doing with you...


This is the blue print for the restaurant were building in NY. Some of you may be familiar with them... I don't draw the ones for these jobs, but I learned how to draw them on the computer in AutoCAD last year, along with Photoshop. I will earn an AutoCad certificate after completing one more elective class in web design or something ...took to it like a fish to water. I'm not your average ass crack showin' nail banger... Not that there's anything wrong with that....


Here is what we do with it. Once the space is cleared, we lay out or "draw" the print on the floor all at once. We snap chalk lines on the ground and then spray them with clear laquer so they stay when people are sweeping or walking around and stuff... ...little trade secret for ya...

That takes a day or so. We can start framing some walls right away. The the concrete cutting people come in and cut the floor for underground electrical and plumbing. When they are done and the floor is patched up we go nuts. It all happens pretty fast.


My life is pretty much driving a little past Albany, NY...checking out cool bridges, which I love. We pass a few farms along the way, and go through the Berkshire Mountains. It's pretty scenic. I never tire of staring out of the car at shit...

Fuck it. Were going to be staying up there a few nights a week starting next week. It's near Lake George, so there is plenty to do...plus it affords me a nice level of freedom on weekends or when I take time off...actually, any time that I'm not working I do whatever I want, except fly around the world and shit...or go buy Porsches...oh well.
