Hiya kidz.... sorry it's been so long... the last few weeks have been packed full of art making goodness.... we opened and closed our Spring Dance performance this past week & next week we take it to our venue downtown (REDCAT in Disney Hall)... as of Monday, only eleven days left in school... It's gonna be tough watching this group graduate... they're the ones who started at CalArts the same time I did... we've spent four great years together & my heart goes with them as they walk into the world...
summer is just around the corner & already it seems like I've booked up those precious three months of freedom... working on a huge 35th anniversary for CalArts in June... then a couple weeks on the east coast at our family reunion we do every two years... seven days on the coast of North Carolina and about a week helping my mom get moved into her new house... then back to LA to probably teach summer school for CSSSA (California State Summer School for the Arts).... Probably som time visiting friends in San Fran & maybe a visit from a long time friend that I haven't seen in almost fifteen years....
my apologies to all of you that I haven't responded to over the last month.... I don't think I've ever had this many coments on my journal... but I'm gonna sit here in my garden and enjoy the afternoon sun and some marguerita action while I get back to you all....
