ok... I know that these fires are most likely arson/ caused by humans... we did it to ourselves in more ways than one... overly aggressive fire prevention for the last 80 years... depletion of natural water resources... throw in a little climatic change (drought & higher temps) brought on by ....ta daaaaa! GLOBAL WARMING!!.... oh and here's the best one... increased nitrogen content in the plants brought on by the particulates in smog settling on their leaves & into the soil (this effect even causes succulants to burn...)
and speaking of terrorists... how effective do you think it would be to shut down LA with about 20 soda bottles filled with gas & a pack of Bic lighters... a few grand in "mad" money to pay some kids to ride their bikes into the hills & drop off your little package... I'm just sayin'...
ok... 'nother day off and too much time to think... I should be getting to my chores around the house before it gets too hot... maybe a bath for the dogs when the sun and I get a little higher..
I've decided to learn Spanish... I know, woo hoo... big eFFin' deal... look, I live in So Cal... this was & still is part of Mexico & I feel like a total ugly Amerikan asshole who speaks only one language...(the high school German fell apart years ago)... time to stop communicating like some entitled colonialist bastard...

Why is Santa Clarita always on fire??? Good for yuo learning Spanish. I took a few years of it in college, but I still feel like a fool when trying to comunicate with native speakers.
