Sounds like a much needed/deserved day off. It's good that you have good plans to fully enjoy it. I hope everything ends up being as good as it sounds. I know you haven't been looking forward to the end of the summer and what that means for you, but at least it was what it was. You'll always have the memories of the experience. Plus it will be good for you to do some travel and see your family so that should keep you thinking positive thoughts. Try not to dwell too much on how things will be when you return cause that will only sadden you and take away from the time you spend out here on the good old east coast.

Since I wrote my journal, I heard the word "teat" at least three times. I had no idea it was still in our collective vocabulary. It shouldn't be.

It's nice meeting people on here, but also strange. A garden party would be a nice way of putting real bodies and faces to names.

Why is Santa Clarita always on fire??? Good for yuo learning Spanish. I took a few years of it in college, but I still feel like a fool when trying to comunicate with native speakers.

Hmm... I always thought the valley would be the first to be smited.

Now, the fires are at a decease. But i must say that even though distructive and deadly, the fires were amazingly beautiful, i could'nt seem to take my eyes off of them. Pyro, maybe.....but man something about fires(especially at night....full effect ya know) puts me in a hypnotic state of coziness.i have'nt herd any news on deaths or major distruction(besides acres and acres of burnt shrubbery, probably some animals ,i heard there were a few million dollar homes starting to oxidize[HA...rich consuming bastards that forget the true meaning of happiness....FACE!.....i hope no one was harmed, really though]). i sat on the side of the road watching the inchantment for hours. It t'was beautiful....and it got me hot(take it as you will). The best part that gave me an idea for some art, while working as the fires were at a peak, it was windy so all of the ash and smoke blew to the left in the distance; it was a sunny hot hot day (i really do luv CA weather but damn it gets HOOOOT) anyhow, the smoke was creating darkness in the distance like a background of otopia, especially since it was CA beach weather without a cloud in the sky, but i observed as all this distruction in the background was befalling, the yuppy Santa Clarita drones (who were not affected) lived there lives as ignorant and pretentious as every other in the bright sun away from the darkness.Oblivous consummation of reality. it felt like a post-apocalyptic movie( i loved it). if i had my own town there would be a blazing contained inferno in the background at all times, and i would hold my town meetings in the fore, and we would all sing our town song and do our town dance(like a twisted Dr.Suess am i; wait...scratch that...i dont see him getting possibly anymore twisted).

on other note: How's it goin' kid? Anything new?

thanks for the comment... yeah, i'm just really bad when it comes to the whole "basic" job thing....i feel like my brain cells are leaping from my brain in mass suicide. apparently i'd rather make movies for no money.
