North Carolina-bound soooooooooooooon!!! My son is up in NC right now and Christmas is approaching fast. I've been trying to figure out whether or not to fly up there .... or just drive. It's only a 10 hour drive from Florida - that's NOTHING!!! Hell, I drove from here (Florida) up to PA when he was living there and that drive sucked major ASS!!! And it was freezing and snowing at the time. My car's heater didn't work either.
I've been searching for prices on round trip plus a rental car for approximately 7 or 8 days. It's about $500+ for rental and round trip but just for a rental car it's approximately $250.00 unlimited mileage! It's about a 10 hour drive so I'm going w/ renting a car. Definitely NOT driving mine that far - not now... too many miles. I'll trust a rental car company's car before I can trust mine, lol.
So, what about a place to stay? No worries!!! My cousin lives about 4 hours away from my son so I'll be able to stay w/ him for FREE!!! Booo-YA!!!
My son is going to be SOOOO FUCKING HAPPY AND EXCITED that I'm coming up there for Christmas!!! I told him earlier today that I'll TRY my best to make it up there this year but I can't promise anything. So... I'm thinking to myself... what If I just surprised him by showing up? I'll have to plan it out w/ his mother - let her know the specific dates and time. Oh yeah... that's what i'll do - surprise him!!! He'll LOVE IT!!!
Okay i'm super stoked now - gotta request my time off from work when I get there tomorrow (Actually today lol) And to top it off... I'll be getting a pretty good bonus from work right before Christmas... Christmas w/ my son will be awesome this year!!!
