I have a good chunk of change saved up in my 401k at work. Been thinking it's time to consider buying my own HOME w/in the next year or two, max!!! Tired of renting. So I upped my 401k by a few percent so the company I work for can match it. Maybe with in a year or so I'll have a good bit saved and I can start looking for a house.
I know it'll be a challenge if I do end up buying a house - gotta save money big time - no more wild crazy ass spending!!! Gotta budget. I may even consider having a roommate - lots of things to consider.
But.. first things first.. save up my 401k and just saving in general. I'M READY!!!!

Saving is hard work, but it'll all pay off when you get a house to own. I'm in the exact same boat as you right now <3

Noomi - yeah.. it is hard work. I'm doing what I can to save but in the end... I'm trying not to fall behind. We have a bonus plan at work which we're on track to make but it won't be for another month or 2. If by chance we bonus 100% then I can get around $1600!!! That will definitely put me ahead and i'll be on track to keep saving. AS LONG AS NOTHING ELSE GOES WRONG!!! LOL Murphy's law... right? yep!!! Anyway - hope things work out for you as well!!!! <3
