I'M FREEEEEEEEEE!
Well, sort of.
I finished the paper from hell, that was in lieu of a final exam, but due before exams started -- STINK. Now I get to deal with three more weeks of retail hell, until the new year heralds in the slowest period of the year. HOORAY! Then I get to take a vacation!!
You have no idea how excited I truly am. I'm thinking BC, but New York also has my heart. Ideas?
The roommate & I went to IKEA, which I will refer to as CRACKLAND, because I can never leave that place without buying something. It's horrid, but delicious.. A love-hate relationship.
ANYWAY. I have a shiny new YELLOW ikea credit card, which I totally shouldn't have signed up for, but I simply couldn't come home empty-handed, & I really really really needed extra shelving in the apartment.
Another reason ikea is awesome? They sell real christmas trees! In pots! They last all year long! So I present to you our totally tacky, Charlie-Brown-esque first-tree-in-seven-years-for-me holiday tree:

I like the food in Ikea because it tastes pretty okay when really it shouldn't taste like anything close to okay...
