havn't felt the urge to update in awhile. perhaps I will post some ph0tos and share more of what's been going on for me recently in the near future, but for now I'm all about a bath, som loungetime, and whatnots. som quick thoughts though....
I'm semi-pleased with the newer sets I see going up on SG. they seem to be more modern, sexier for the most part than say sets posted over the spring and summer. I find myself growing less and less interested in SG overall though. I've noticed the same phenominon with others too. SG seems to hold interest for a bunch of months initially, but then it just fades away. kindof like a toy that has been outgrown. that being said though I probably still check SG pretty much every day.
settling into my new abode. working in the garden etc. it's nice to have dirt to dig in. it's good therapy for a crazy fuck such as myself. I'll post pictures eventually. I'm hesitant because it's not nearly as sexy as the Colt building was, but it's still sexier than the common garden variety little pink house. I'm almost ashamed to be a homeowner amongst SG'ers. my guess is that most SG'ers are not homeowners. it smacks of suburbia. that being said, I can assure you I'm still far far far from being suburbian.
band is laying low for the moment. gig on oct 1 is cancelled. no shows booked at the moment. working on new material and gearing up to record over the cold winter months.
